How Scenario works in Business Rules ?
Definition
It is used to define criteria. If the criteria are not met, the system skips the execution of the rule.
How to Use?
On Quick rule page, in Validations tab click on the type field and select scenario.
Validate field: You can use the trigger table as well as the linked table and one of their fields on which you want to define the scenario.
Condition: A filter string is used to apply the filters on the Validate field. Placeholders can also be used within the filter string for the linked table and trigger table.
Validate Description: Shows the description of the filter string that is applied for the defined scenario.
Actions: Actions are executed if the criteria defined in the condition are met. Multiple actions can be defined for each scenario.
